Threats to the existence and protection of Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument - Grand Canyon-Parashant is threatened by off-road vehicle use and overgrazing. Mountain States Legal Foundation, an industry-backed law firm that formerly employed Interior Secretary Gale Norton, is challenging the presidential authority to proclaim monuments.
